About Me:
My name is Gregory Brooks, and I am a seasoned finance and business strategy leader with over two decades of experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Passionate about building and driving profitable, disruptive business models, I founded Acuity CPG, a business finance & strategy consulting company dedicated to helping start-up to mid-sized CPG companies achieve their financial and strategic goals. My services include Fractional Financial Leadership, FP&A, Brand Finance, Product Portfolio Management, and Capital Procurement Support.
As the former Commercial Finance Director (BU CFO) at Clif Bar & Company, I managed a $1.0B portfolio and led the annual and long-range revenue strategic planning for the entire company. My leadership in overseeing product strategies, supporting new business initiatives, and implementing innovative processes resulted in significant cost savings and improved profitability. I take pride in having developed comprehensive forecasting processes, leading product portfolio management, and spearheaded the implementation of SKU Rationalization, saving the company $35MM in costs. My high emotional intelligence and ability to provide thought partnership across organizations made me a trusted advisor to C-level executives.

Beyond my professional achievements, I am dedicated to making a positive impact in my community. I have received several awards and recognitions, including the Clif Bar & Company Community Aspiration Award for my efforts in raising over $650K for local nonprofits, as well as the CFO Award from Mondelez International, for my Transformation work. In my personal life, I am a lover of all things Italian, a world traveler, an avid golfer and basketball player. I embrace the challenges of physical growth and mental growth through strength training, continuous learning, and personal development. Family and friends are a top priority for me, and I value the balance between professional and personal life.
